I anchor the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. weeknight newscasts for WTVA television in Tupelo-Columbus, Mississippi.  I also report and help manage the newsroom as assistant news director for the NBC affiliate.  My broadcast journalism career has primarily been in Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana, with a brief stint in Houston, Texas.  This blog focuses on the interesting journalism that I find while surfing the Web.  It’ll occasionally include items promoting my employer and featuring my personal interests, which include radio, dogs, music, photography, travel and Mississippi.
